Vancouver-based camera operator Matthew Tichenor is known for his work on Benny Safdie’s The Smashing Machine (2025), Aaron Sorkin’s The Social Reckoning (2026), TRON: Ares (2025), Monarch: Legacy of Monsters (2023), The Mother (2022), and Drinkwater (2021). Tichenor also wrote, produced and directed the acclaimed short film Cinephiliac (2016), which won Best Science Fiction Drama at the 2017 New Renaissance Film Festival Amsterdam.
