Collin Morrison is a cinematographer and Camera Operator based in Vancouver BC. Commercially Collin has shot for brands including Canon, Michelin, Canadian Tire and Shopify. He is the DOP for “The Wrestlers” on Viceland and the CBC show “Scout and the Gumboot Kids” for which he won the 2018 and 2019 Leo Award for Cinematography in a youth program. His feature film work as a cinematographer includes “Fall Back Down” and “Andie the Great.” As a Camera Operator, Collin has been the “A” camera operator on over 20 films and worked on various series filmed in Vancouver.

Collin also has a strong documentary background. From shooting out of helicopters over the Amazon, along seafloor off the coast of Japan and from the backs of trucks in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Collin has traversed the globe and become adept at shooting in any environment. Starting his career in the lighting department he can still can find himself at home in a studio, lighting anything from large sets to miniatures for stop-motion. He is a member of IATSE Local 669 as a camera operator and is an American citizen and a Canadian resident.
