I am a Vancouver-based underwater camera operator. My passion for underwater camera evolved from working aboard cruise ships as a Broadcast Technician in the Caribbean (#lifeexperience) where I combined my passions for scuba diving and camera operating.
Upon returning to Vancouver, my love for storytelling with the lens continued into the film industry where I joined ICG 669 as an EPK operator. I furthered my dream of underwater operating by acquiring my Commercial Diver License in 2007 and joined the Underwater Department for the first time as a Utility Diver on Charlie St. Cloud in 2009.
Since then I’ve gone on to become a Dive Supervisor on many feature films and TV shows which allowed me to study and further learn many underwater lighting, direction and camera techniques, working my way steadily towards Underwater Operating by being mentored by Pauline Heaton CSC and Braden Haggerty. In the last five years, I have gone on to Underwater Operate on commercials, short films, music videos and more recently, such TV series as Siren, Madeleine, Shogun, Nancy Drew, Fire Country and Disney’s Percy Jackson. I am most grateful to have turned my passion into a career and I look forward to working with you to capture your underwater projects.
I’ve been working in the underwater world here in Vancouver since 2007.
